Fish cannery Equator, LLC is a leading Ukrainian enterprise engaged in fish and seafood processing. The company was established in 2003. The enterprise has been developing, expanding its technological capabilities, accumulating unprecedented production experience since its establishment. The plant provides for the full cycle manufacturing of a wide products range under Ukraine and the European Union standards.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES OF THE ENTERPRISE

The manufacturing complex occupies an area of several thousand square meters, and consists of the following units:

• Production unit for natural canning.
• Production unit for producing canned sprats in oil and smoked fish in oil.
• Production unit for producing canned fish in tomato sauce, cod liver and caviar.

The manufacture has modern equipment for fish processing. The qualified experienced specialists organize technological processes.

RAW MATERIALS

For the production of canned fish products, the factory uses raw materials directly from oceanic and marine fisheries. The company actively cooperates with the largest fish producers from Ukraine, Mauritania, Morocco, Senegal, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland, Norway, and China. Canned food is made from the seafood of Atlantic, the Baltic, the Pacific, the Azov-Black Sea basin. Strong partnership with Ukrainian fisheries enterprises allows producing high-quality canned goods at affordable prices.

TRADE MARKS

Products of the fish cannery Equator, LLC are represented on the market by their own brands: Equator, Aquamir, Bogatyi Ulov, Kerchenskie, Fishmarin, Arctika, Botsman, Okeanicheskie. The factory manufactures goods of the Privat Label group of large Ukrainian trade enterprises and trade networks (Billa, Metro, Fozzy Group, Alyans Market, ATB-Market, Ukraiskiy Retail, etc.).

QUALITY CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT

Quality control and management of products takes a special place in the production process.

• In 2003, the company implemented and certified the system of quality management and safety in the system UkrSEPRO.
• Since 2008, the company has been using products of HASP international safety system.
• In 2015, a food safety management system was implemented in accordance with the requirements of DSTU ISO22000: 2007.

Quality control of raw materials, containers and finished products is carried out by a certified laboratory. Technological regimes at all stages of fish canning production undergoes strict control.
